Definitely looking forward to all these reads!!! Lost of different perspectives and worlds to enjoy. Good thing, is that the list is a combination of new and seasoned authors, as well as a nice mix of genres to get the blood pumping and flowing. I think though that I will be pausing additions to the list. One book at a time, I must at least get 5 books from the list completed (good for me …I’ve already completed two) and of course I will be carrying the books forward.

Let me know in the comments below.Īt close to 80 titles on my TBRL ( and growing rapidly), I have no idea when these books will be read or even where the time will come from to read them. I am really looking forward to all the new books of 2021 and the new authors I will fall in love with!!! I have already read some new authors so far this year and reacquainted my self with some other favorites, but all in all it has been good. As always, my TBR list is beyond believable, but I am sure I will read at least one from the list if I am consistent. So far this year, at the beginning of April I have already read 30 books, a mix of romance and fantasy. It works wonders for the mind and definitely helps with your emotions in this emotionally charged time. I pity the persons who cannot understand the wonder that is reading and moving from one world to the next. So I may begin a month with a black romance and end it with shifters, magic users, gods, angels, fey and even dragons. What I do to handle what is monotony for me, is sprinkle in a bit of everything. Yes, I read a lot of different Genres and more often than not they are so far apart that some people will have a whip lash about how I move from one to the other. Problem is….after delving so deep, I had to take a break and step into the world of Fantasy. When I started reading last year, I had no idea there were so many black authors around who had so many stories to share and tell and I am super glad I delved into that world. Jones, to Joan Vassar, to Denesha Little, to Rebekah Weatherspoon and so many more….the list is extensive and to top it off, I became a part of an awesome book club (yah me!!!) and subscribed to a black woman curated book box called ReadHer. Well, lets see if I can again build up some momentum with this first one for 2021.Ģ020 was a year full of Black Romance and reading several new authors. I still cant believe that I have so thoroughly ignored my blog!!!
